Target Does It Again.

I have this addiction (I'm sure I am not the only one) with Target. I go there when I'm bored, when I'm upset and want to walk around and think, and of course I go there when I actually need something. It's like how Holly Golightly feels about Tiffany's. The problem with Target is that even if I got there to get one specific thing, I always come out with way more. Seriously, they are so good at sucking us consumers in it's like magic. I personally believe that the Target symbol is really a hypnotizing tool.

Anyways, I went there the other day for Q-tips and toothpaste and of course just had to stop in the clearance section. While perusing, I came upon this lovely gem, and it just so happened to be the last one left. It must have been fate because I have been looking for the perfect oversized clutch for awhile and this one was not only perfect, but was $6! You really can't get much better than that. I love the polka dot lining, the gold clasp, and the suede texture. It's sad that I am dedicating an entire post to a clutch, but it is amazing to me that I got such a steal of a deal. I may need to join a Target addiction recovery group.

Be Mine| St. Valentine

I am not the biggest fan of Valentine's Day because I think it exploits people who are not in relationships and puts pressure on people who are. I think that you should shower someone with love, affection, and gifts throughout the year, yet it is a good reminder to let the people in our lives know just how much we cherish them.

I don't believe in doing gift exchanges for Valentine's day, but I created and printed a little card for Paul and this day is an excuse to be mushy and give it to him. The words are from the song "Ho, Hey" by The Lumineers. This is one of our first photos taken together. This photo combines three of my favorite things: Paul, the beach, and this song.
